Target Audience: Dogs should be certified on near certification on land. Teams should have 6 months experience in water search and dogs should have a trained final response on water.
Topics: This workshop will be a combination of classroom and in the field training. Classroom topics will include; search strategy, preparing for certification, communications with boat operators, and basics of hydrology in still and moving water environments.
In the field training will focus on increasing nose time, implementing search strategy, and providing your search finding/recommendations during open water and shoreline searches.

Meals: Lunches will be provided each day.
Hotels: A block of rooms will be held near the training site. Upon completing your registration, you will receive an email with hotel information so that you can reserve your room.
Prerequisites:
1. Dog must be at least 12 months old and have at least 6 months of HR shoreline and open water training at the time of the workshop. Dog should have a trained final response for water.
2. You should have, or be preparing to take a HRD land certification from a national or state agency. If you have a current certification a copy can be uploaded during the registration process.
3. Dog must be current on core vaccinations per AAHA Core Vaccines: Rabies, and Combination vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus, +/- Parainfluenza). Current titers also accepted. Information can be found at:
