Applications will be accepted August 1, 2019 through September 1, 2019. Applications may be submitted via email to Christy Bormann at Christy.Bormann@teex.tamu.edu. An email confirmation of receipt of each application will be sent as it is received. Each application will be assigned a number based on the order in which it was received. There is no limit to the number of teams that may submit applications from each FEMA Task Force. On Sept 3, 2019 numbers will be drawn via random lottery to determine the order in which teams will be invited to participate. All available slots in the training will be filled on Sept 3, 2019 and emails will be sent to those handlers that have spots in the training. The remaining teams will be assigned to a waiting list in the order in which their numbers are drawn. The teams on the waiting list will be notified regarding their position on the waiting list on Sept 3, 2019. If space becomes available to allow the participation of a wait listed team, that team will be notified when space becomes available for them. There will be no substitutions. If a team cannot attend the training, the next team on the waiting list will be offered the spot. Notification date is subject to change should TX-TF1 be deployed on Sept 3, 2019.
